She was known for her unwavering thoughtfulness, always remembering birthdays, anniversaries, and other important life milestones for those around her. No occasion passed without Beverly reaching out—her caring spirit touched countless lives through simple, meaningful gestures.
In honor of Beverly’s legacy, this new fund is dedicated to building a future of compassionate service. The Beverly Ruth James Legacy Fund exists to issue grants of up to $2,000 to families across the Dallas-Fort Worth area—who are facing financial hardship after the death of a loved one. These grants provide prompt, dignified financial relief at one of the most difficult moments imaginable. Unlike traditional funeral assistance programs, applications are designed for rapid approval and grants are paid directly to local funeral establishments, ensuring both speed and accountability while relieving families of urgent financial stress.
The goal is to lift a genuine burden for families in crisis, in the very spirit Beverly displayed throughout her life. The fund is scheduled to be fully operational and open for applications by Summer 2026.
